Shoreline Community College provides outstanding beauty education that helps students learn the fundamentals of cosmetology and esthetics. The cosmetology program focuses on teaching the skills needed to become a licensed cosmetologist in the State of Washington. Students will gain a comprehensive understanding of salon business operations and the latest techniques in hair cutting, coloring, perming, makeup, manicures and pedicures. The esthetician certification program provides training that is specifically designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to provide professional skin care services such as facials, body treatments, waxing and other related services. Students learn advanced skincare techniques while also discovering ways they can improve the overall look and feel of their clients’ skin.
